Ruth knows what it's like to travel the road of loss and unwelcome life transitions. Through the years, she has wondered about the meaning of all those challenges and what she could learn from them.

Integrating her social work background with her personal experience, she became very clear about her calling.   

During in-person or virtual sessions, Ruth specializes in teaching resilience and offers help and hope when life doesn't go according to plan.   Through relationship-based therapy, she devotes her professional life to helping adults, teens, and families manage life stress and move forward. She offers sessions at her comfy Northfield, IL office or via HIPAA-compliant teletherapy.

Ruth is also the best-selling author of The 4 Facets of Grief: Heal Your Heart, Rebuild Your World, and Find New Pathways to Joy.
